CREATIVE STRATEGY / PRINT DESIGN: Experimental concept for an invitation to the MET Gala if Martin Margiela was being honored / operating as the creative director. Using a fake issue of the New York Times as the invite, the paper would feature essays on Margiela from his peers as well as images from famous show invites produced by Maison Martin Margiela in the past alongside actual articles from the days news, and an invite to the event semi-hidden on the last page. Being an iconoclast who abhorred the limelight, I thought the idea of a regular paper which most people can afford to be a Margiela-esque detail which would perhaps have a humbling effect on the Gala attendees.
